In the Age of Information every move like this has massive implications for the future. What’s free today may cost ten fold tomorrow.
How would telemarketers feel about the telecoms tracking the content of their telephone conversations with customers or the conversion results of each call? That information is essential for their business but would they ever trust the telecoms with data this sensitive? I think not.
No doubt that free is a nice price, but does this offering really come without a cost?
