In reaction to my statement that marketers are, on their own, making dramatic decisions with regard to Web affiliate programs…
“The answers are not coming from the affiliate side—they’re coming from the other side. The cataloger’s side, you know the marketing department’s side. We all were hoping that it was going to come from our side—the affiliate side—and that’s not happening. We’re happy to play in our own little pig stye here and not push things forward.”
